In 2007, John Stinson was approached about producing a textbook for a local
college course. Realizing the potential in the market for such educational
materials, John set out to publish this text and Dalrymple Press was formed.
Already experienced in some areas of publication with his map book company, John
had the know-how and the connections for producing a quality piece of published
work. That one reference text started in a small classroom, and has now moved to
other classrooms and other audiences. It proved to be the perfect start for this
publishing company.
